Wide Planter

A wall-mounted trough that displays three plants side by side.

Placing it​

Right-click a wall with the planter, the way you'd place an item frame.

Rather than standing off the block, it snaps to the surface you aimed at. Hang one on slats, a fence, a trapdoor or any other partial block, and it rests flush against it.

Planting​

The wide planter has three slots across it. Right-click the third you want:

  • Holding a plant on an empty third plants it there.
  • On a filled third takes that plant back, whatever you're holding.

It accepts flowers, saplings and crops, plus cactus, bamboo, sea pickles and sweet berries.

Anything that grows is shown at full size. Two-block plants like sunflowers, rose bushes and pitcher plants show both halves of their respective blocks.

Breaking the planter drops it along with everything planted in it.
